A Thank You to Deana and sharing

Hi Prim Friends!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and enjoyed the day with family and friends.

We had a quiet day here. Enjoyed a yummy dinner and sat an watched tv movies all day.

On Saturday, I received a wonderful package from Deana over at Old Goat Prims. I won her sweet giveaway!

A perfectly prim prairie bonnet and prairie cloth! I’ll find a special place for them once all the Christmas deco is put away and my house gets back to normal.

Thank you so much Deana! Your gifts are perfectly prim!

If you have not checked Deana’s blog out~ click here and visit her~ she’s looking for more followers and will be hosting another giveaway in the new year.

I also wanted to share a pic of what I was working on just before Christmas.

This George Washington make-do turned out awesome! If I say so myself. It’s a Barefoot Primitives design. I made one for my sister in law Amy over at Bumble bee lane for Christmas. I took the pic prior to putting the finishing touch of a copy of a rolled up Constitution in his hands. He was pretty labor intense, but oh so worth it.

I also purchased the Abe make-do and will be working on him after the new year.

I’ll be taking it easy this week and enjoying the last week of 2011. Then it’s back to sewing~ gotta stock up those selling booths for my prim customers!

Thank you for visiting and wishing you a wonderful last week of 2011!

Blessings, Jean

  6. Dear Jean,
The G. Washington Make Do is wonderful, I can tell that you put a lot of work into him. I
like the idea of famous colonials as make-dos,
I bet Abe is going to be a hoot!
We had a quiet day here, too after the kids came over Christmas Eve and the little guy is here tonight. Mr. G.O.P. is so happy to have him for a week.
