No snow for Christmas

I was outside gathering sticks for a project I’m working on and here’s what I saw.

My Maple and Bradford pear trees have buds!

It’s been so mild here in Northern VA that Mother Nature doesn’t even know what to do!

No white Christmas this year~

Warm Winter Blessings,

  6. Oh that's just WRONG! Spooky stuff! We still have snow on the ground - but certainly not as much as we are accustomed to. And temps in the 20's - 30's....Of course, nights are much colder - but still bizarre for Nod! Happy Tuesday Jean! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  7. That is scarey stuff Jean! We woke up to everything white but not from snow, HEAVY frost and it is beautiful! Not good driving though.
Hope your trees don't get confused like the rest of us ;-)

  8. We are usually much colder in Michigan this time of the year. But, the weather has been very strange...warm...ha! I am going to enjoy cause I KNOW it won't last. The snow is definitely coming soon.

    hugs!

  10. Sorry for the post being deleted...I wanted to paste something in the comment and something else pasted in there...darn.
    Anyway...
I have a feeling some of us that get lots of snow by now aren't going to see it by the 25th - been many years since we've had a brown Christmas.

    Merry Christmas

  12. No snow here in Western PA either. Global warming? It's been pretty mild so far. Lots of rain. If it had been snow, we would have had a BIG white Christmas!

    Merry Christmas!

  13. No snow in OK either and we usually do have a white Christmas. It's been in the high 50's and even 60's here. I thought my Bradford's had blooms but thought there is no way! Now I'm gonna have to go out there and look close. Funny, huh?! Crazy weather.
