Happy Saturday Blog Friends!
Sorry I’ve not posted since New Year’s, I’ve been under the weather since Christmas day. ugh….
It’s the same crud many of you in blogland have been suffering with.
I’m starting to feel better, but still not much energy to do the much awaiting sewing I should be doing. I’ve been sitting around tracing out stacks of patterns to sew and now have lots to do, so I am hoping to get the energy level back this week to get them all done.
I recently won a giveaway hosted by Teri at White Sheep Farm. All you had to do was make her a snowflake and let her know you did. I thought that was a very creative way to host a giveaway.
Her offerings also had to do with snow~ smile.
Here’s what I found waiting in my mailbox last evening.
An oh so cute snowman and a painted wood box. But wait, what’s in the box?
The cutest snowman kit I’ve ever seen! It even has a pipe and a heart for him!
Our temps have finally turned cold here in the valley, so I suspect we’ll be getting some snow soon and will be able to make me a snowman. Can’t wait!
Thank you Teri!
I love both the snow items!
If you’ve never visited Teri over at White Sheep Farm, go on over for a visit ~ She and her hubby are renovating their old farm house, it’s been a pleasure seeing their progress.
I have managed to get a few items I had sewn, put together.
This cute heart mouse make do~ pattern by Samantha’s Accessories. I made him on a bedspring instead of a wood bobbin. These are sure to be a hit with my customers!
How about these cuties! Pattern by Bird in the Hand Primitives. I did one the original size and one in a larger size. The larger one is a great size to display in a cupboard. I love how they turned out and Robin’s pattern was so easy to follow.
Well, that’s it for now.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Jean

ReplyDeleteI have been thinking of you and I apologize for not getting an email off to you. I hope the crude is gone and you get to feeling better quickly! Hard to keep a good woman down and I'm sure if you're like me it when I'm sick I think of all the things I could be doing!
Your winning goodies are so sweet. Now if you only had some snow to use the snowman kit for.

ReplyDeleteHi Jean,
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel...I've had this nasty thing for about 2 weeks now and it just doesn't want to go away.

I love that Valentine mouse---so cute. I love all your mice. Course, I have no affection for the real thing!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are feeling better now. It seems everyone in blogland has been sick, it really does take all or your energy.
ReplyDeleteI love the goodies you won, very nice. I love all the prim things you made, especially the heart with mouse. I hope to get some sewing in soon too. Haven't really been in the mood lately.
We have snow and cold temps, so maybe today will be a good day to stay in and craft.

So sorry you've been under the weather, Jean.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel completely well very soon. I like what you've made so far, both the mouse and the little cupid doll. The mouse looks great on a bedspring, the bobbins are being done so much that the spring is a welcome change. Very nice.
Hugs,
Susan
Well that's not good! I hope you're feeling better by now. Having that since Christmas is a long time to feel crappy.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, love the snowman kit!! I've been seeing some online and thought it would be fun to have. You are gonna have a great time when you get some snow. =]
I love when I know of the pattern designers, it makes it so much more wonderful! Robin, Samantha, and Sandy are all such talented women! Your creations from their patterns are adorable!!
Ok, off to meet Teri now. I just love making new prim friends.
Take it easy until you're 100%... you don't want to get down again.
