So busy playing catch-up

Hi Blog Friends,

Sorry it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I am still trying to get caught up with making crafts for my mall booths and I am now consigning some of my things with a flower and gift shop in Mt. Jackson, VA.

I am loving making things for the fall and am looking forward to doing Christmas crafts. Seems there’s just not enough time in the day to get all I plan to do done in a timely fashion….

The following pics are items that have been best sellers for me so far this season. Anything with pumpkins really. I can’t seem to make them fast enough, but I’m not complaining

Witch Boots, Black Cats….

Mice dressed as witches and all kinds of pumpkin….

Here are some new things I’m making.

 fall crafts 001

Primitive JOL Make-do, pattern by Olde Homestead Barn.  I used some old bench legs for the base on these guys. I just love how they turned out. Very Prim looking.

This is a pattern by Moonchilds Primitives.  A very easy pattern to work with and I used some of my bed springs as the base.   Sorry the pics are not very good.

This black cat is from a pattern by Snuggle Bug Prim Blessings. Very simple pattern to make.

You can click on any of the title names to go and visit there wonderful websites.

All these patterns were offered as free patterns by the designers and I am very appreciative for that as the cost of supplies is increasing every time I go to purchase things. The Ben Franklins store that has been in business for 73 years, were I get my bells, wire and embellishments from; is now going out of business and the Wal-Mart(s) around me are downsizing there crafts sections and the fabrics in two of the stores is being done away with completely. The other one is going to prepackaged fabrics. It’s really getting hard to find places to purchase craft supplies!!

Well, I have lots more crafts to get to, so until next time,

Prim Blessings,

Jean

  2. Goodness girl! You have been busy, busy, busy! My favorite is the crow and pumpkin on the old spring, very cute. I can't believe these are all free patterns. How wonderful! I know what you mean about supplies getting harder and harder to find. I pretty much just go to Hobby Lobby for everything anymore. If you watch their ads real close, you can get things at 50% off most of the time.

You have so many wonderful fall hand mades... looking forward to the Christmas ones! =]
