Hi Blog Friends,
Look at this harvest moon. The other night I was letting my little Snoopy Dog out and seen this in the horizon. At first I thought the side of the mountain was on fire, because earlier in the day there was an actual fire on the mountain. The air all day had smelled like smoke. Then when I focused more on it, I could see it was the moon. Just beautiful although this photo doesn’t do it justice.
I won an awesome giveaway over at Paxton Valley Folk Art.
This sweet Snowman Welcome Candle Holder is coming to live with me! Thank You Deb!! Can’t wait to receive him!!!! If you’ve never been over to Deb’s blog, click on the link above and visit her. She is very talented and I love to visit her blog.
I’ve been surfing around the blog site this morning and came upon some GREAT GIVEAWAYS!
They’re all listed on my sidebar, just click on the pictures to visit their blogs.
I want to give a special plug to Brenda at The Rusty Thimble.
She’s having this great winter giveaway! She’s offering 12 Handmade Ornies to Three (3) Winners!!! How generous is that. I don’t know how she finds the time??? Hurry over and sign up, make sure to read the rules. Drawing is December 1st.
Well I’ve been busy making all kinds of winter crafts for my selling booths and consignment shop.
I have some pics of completed crafts to share. Many more crafts are just waiting to be completed. Where are the days going…. It’s the 3rd of November and before I know it, it’ll be Thanksgiving.
How cute is this sweet Candy Cane Annie. She is a design from Lillie Mae Crafts. And all of Brenda’s patterns are free!! Thank you Brenda.
Here are some little ornies I made using free patterns from You are special. Sandy is so generous and has great patterns that are so easy to make. I purchased some wool for the Santa beards from Backwoods Wonders. She has some great wool to offer and reasonable priced.
How neat are these stick horses! I loved making them and oh so easy to do. They are from a design by KKL Primitives.
This Backwoods Santa is a long skinny guy. He is a design by Kinsey Primitives, which I purchased from Homespun and Primitives.
Last but not least here is the Snowman Hat designed by Tennessee Ridge Primitives. I love making this design and it was a great seller for me last year.
If you get a chance, scroll down to the bottom of my blog and check out some of the other blogs I follow. They are all wonderful in their own way and offer so much.
Gotta get back to crafting, so have a wonderful week and enjoy all that the Fall Season offers, cause before you know it, it’ll be winter. Brrrrrr.

Jean
