Giveaway reminder:

Hi Blog Friends!

It’s been a rainy dreary week here in the valley. Seems like the East Coast just keeps getting pounded with bad weather lately. I hope this is not any indication as to what the winter is going to be for us.

I just wanted to stop in and say a big HELLO to all my new followers! And a big THANK YOU to all my friends for posting my giveaway to their blogs. I have exceeded my goal of reaching 250 followers so, I will be drawing a second name on 9/16 for a little goodie.

If you have not yet signed up for the giveaway, click HERE and leave a comment on that post. Reminder that I am only taking entries from that post.

I managed to get some new things done this week in between  filling orders from my consignment shops. Boy these shops are keeping me busy! I truly do appreciate all the customers whom love my creativity.

Witch boots with tea light. I made bunches of these last year and they sold very well for me, as they are selling well again this year.

And I’m trying these out. Witches book of spells and potions.  I made these by covering composition books with black flannel, then made the label on the computer and printed it off onto grungy muslin and glued to the front cover. I tied jute twine around and tucked some sweet annie in the twine. I also used walnut ink dye to age the outer edges of the pages. I love how they turned out, but not sure if any will sell. Guess we’ll see.

This weekend is the Rt 340 yard crawl and I ‘m hoping the sun will be shinning. I’m not selling anything this time, I’m going bargain hunting instead. I want to find things I can make over. I found a wood chair that I want to do a make-do chair out of and when I went to the landfill last week, there was a small coffee table sitting out beside the dumpster asking me to take it home and make over. LOL! These will be great projects to do once the weather gets cooler. I’ll be sure to share when they’re done.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Stay safe and be kind to one another.

Prim Blessings, Jean

  1. You sure are keeping yourself busy Jean! Seeing your witch boots reminds me I haven't made any this year! They sold right away last year but not sure if I will have time to get any done. I've been making the door greeters and sold a few. Never can tell what will or won't sell from year to year.
Sure hope it stops raining in the east and somehow lands in Texas and other states that really need it.
Take care and congrats on all the followers!
    Blessings,
    Sheila

perfect for the season. I hope they sell for you,
I don't see why they wouldn't. The Prim Scarecrow

  7. Am on my way over to sign up for your giveaway Jean, thanks so much for the invite, I sure don't need asking twice!

Love your witches boots, they look to have been a labour of love, such detailing in them but I have to admit to loving what you have done with the Sweatpeas Primitives pattern, turning the body into a scarecrow, that is genius!

    Have a wonderful weekend Jean,
    Warm Hugs
    Your Friend
