Yard Crawl was a success!

Good Tuesday morning blog friends!

Well, I think I've recovered from the weekend.
If you do craft shows, you know how much work it is to prepare for, set up and sell your wares.
This years yard crawl was a great success! I sold at least 75% of my inventory.
I got to see so many of my faithful customers and am so thankful for their patronage.

There was a steady stream of people all day long.
I only had a chance to take a few pictures to share.

The above two pictures are of the field full of vendors at the flea market.
I got to walk around briefly on Friday afternoon, to see what everyone was offering and I could not believe the prices!! As you can see by the pics, not many people with arm loads of items being carried around.
When they got to our area it was a different story.
My sister came down with a truck load of household items, clothing and toys and my friend Dr. Kim set up selling household items and toys. We all priced our items to sell. People commented ~you all are selling a lot cheaper than anyone else here! They left with bags full of goods! At the end, there wasn't a whole lot to have to pack back up!

This is a pic of my setup late afternoon on Saturday. Wish I had gotten one earlier. We started at 5a.m. and   was pretty busy most of the day. I sold two of the make do chairs I made! A lot of people surprising to me~knew what they were and love them.

There's a new flea market opening next month and I'm thinking I might give it a try.
Now I gotta get busy again, making fall items to stock the selling booth.
Thanks to all my wonderful customers for making this years yard crawl a great success!
I'm looking forward to seeing you all again next year, Lord willing.

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by to visit my little blog.
Blessings,
Jean
